The cost of sessions can be discussed at an initial meeting, it will vary as to duration of sessions and service requested.

Will I get updates about my child's therapy?

I understand how important it is for caregivers to understand how their child is progressing. I offer therapy reviews with caregivers which is also an opportunity for any questions to be answered.

How many sessions will my child need?

The amount needed depends on each child and their individual needs. This can be discussed in the initial meeting.

Are there any common misunderstandings about play therapy?

Play therapy requires time and commitment. Children may need several sessions to feel safe and comfortable in the sessions. Consistent, weekly sessions are crucial for progress.

what happens in a play therapy session?

Each session lasts 50 minutes and during this time, the child leads the play with the therapist attuned to the child's needs. The aim is to create an environment where the child can explore their feelings either through play or verbally with the therapist.
